A Glance Through the History

Little Flower School, Khargora Basti, Shravasti, is an English Medium School, established by the Little Flower Mission, Gorakhpur, a registered Society. The school is situated in Khargora Basti, between Khatra and Ikauna. It is on the highway side of Balrampur and Bahraich. It comes under the Shrawasti district. Shrawasti was a city in ancient India and one of the six largest cities in India during Gautama Buddha’s lifetime. The city was located in the fertile Gangetic plains in the present-day district of the same name, Shravasti, which belongs to Devipatan division of Uttar Pradesh near Balrampur, some 170 kilometers (106 mi) north-east of Lucknow. Earlier, it was a part of the Bahraich district, but the latter was split due to administrative reasons.
